Here at TCU, we have one of the fastest growing Greek communities, between all five councils, there are 5,400 members who enjoy the many benefits of Greek life.

There are four major sororities, all of which were established in early twentieth century, including Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority (Howard University, 1908), Delta Sigma Theta Sorority (Howard University, 1913), Zeta Phi Beta Sorority (Howard University, 1920), and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority (Butler University, 1922).

Zeta itself is usually considered to be a “middle tier” sorority where the sisters tend to care more about social issues than about forming cliques.

Sorority Dues

Dues vary by chapter and range from $414 to $1,384 per semester. Your first semester your dues are included in your new member fee.

A: The Panhellenic Council refers to these topics as the 4 B's: Brothers (Fraternity men), Bars, Beer/Booze, and Buildings/Brownstones. No conversations should reference or center around dating, drinking, nightlife, or chapter housing facilities.
