Five Nights at Freddy’s isn’t just popular due to its jump scares: it’s also popular due to the various endings obtainable in each game. Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach follows in this tradition with its own set of endings.

How many endings are there in FNAF Security Breach?

There are 6 possible FNAF Security Breach endings. Each ending is rated between one and three stars. There is an ending that is considered the Canon ending, though it interestingly is not three stars. Endings other than the Bad ending will require extra conditions beyond leaving Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizza Plex.

Remember that you will not be able to save once you enter the endgame sequence, so some of the endings may be difficult to obtain. Below, you will find each ending in order of stars, how to unlock them, and the events of each ending.

Note: Heavy spoilers are written below as it is impossible to avoid revealing game and plot points when discussing the endings.

1. Bad ending

The Bad ending is the easiest ending to unlock. Simply exit out the front doors during the ending sequence – choose Leave when prompted. Fazbear tells Gregory it will never be safe and to never return, ending by saying he will miss Gregory.

Gregory runs from the Pizza Plex, tears in his eyes. This ending shows Gregory sleeping in a cardboard box with newspaper for a blanket in an alley. In a spot of irony, the newspaper headline focuses on the missing children. From Vanessa mentioning there are no records of Gregory to his sleeping outside, it seems Gregory is an orphan.

Vanny’s shadow is shown to appear next to a sleeping Gregory. What happens from there is unknown. This is the one ending that has doesn’t have an epilogue scene or newspaper headline. This is a one-star ending.

2. Good ending

The Good ending requires you to have a Level Seven Security Badge upgrade. If you go straight through the story without venturing to any optional areas, you should be at Level Six by the time you install the final Fazbear upgrade to begin the endgame. With Level Seven in hand, you must then exit through the docks – remember the sign behind the pizza kitchen?

Gregory drives off in a van with Fazbear next to him (how is a child driving a van, by the way?). They hit a map bot, then continue until Fazbear’s charge diminishes. Gregory uses jumper cables to recharge Fazbear, and they head off together once more.

The epilogue scene indicates that there is a new star at the Pizza Plex: Glamrock Mr. Hippo (though he isn’t named). He is shown pictured with the other three bandmates (fully repaired) as Fazbear’s replacement. This is a two star ending.

3. Unmasked ending

The Unmasked ending is unlocked by exiting through the prize counter emergency exit. During the ending scene, Fazbear grabs a plushie of himself, squeezes it, then sets fire to the Pizza Plex by igniting the prize plushies. Gregory runs ahead to the roof, but he is met by Vanny.

Fazbear, who couldn’t see Vanny before, can now see her with Wolf’s eyes installed. He sacrifices himself by charging at and taking Vanny off of the roof with him. Gregory runs down with tears to see Fazbear decommissioned. He unmasks Vanny, who is a blonde haired woman that resembles Vanessa.

During the epilogue scene, Vanessa is shown looking down from the roof at the events that just transpired, still in her security uniform, indicating she is in fact not Vanny. The newspaper headline indicates the Pizza Blex burned and that the flammable plushies were recalled. This is a two star ending.

4. Disassembled ending

The Disassembled ending is unlocked by first finding Vanny’s lair (hideout) in Fazer Blast. This requires you to use your Party Pass to enter Fazer Blast. The location is all the way up the stairs and across the catwalk into a little office.

During the endgame, when you look to exit the Pizza Plex, click on the Vanny option. Again, this option is only available if you found her lair. From here, a digital cutscene will play where Vanny instructs the security bots to disassemble Fazbear in Fazer Blast.

When you regain control of Gregory, you have to make your way up to the lair in complete darkness (aside from your items). The ending scene will then play where Gregory, to save himself, hits the button Vanny hit earlier and instructs the bots to disassemble Vanny. They do with ferocity and quickness, which is a bit morbid considering the previous Unmasked ending revealed Vanny to be human.

Gregory checks on Fazbear, who tells Gregory before he dies that, “You are my superstar.” The epilogue scene reveals a headline saying the Pizza Plex closed due to health concerns with plans to open the next season. This is also a two star ending.

5. Canon ending

The Canon ending may be the most difficult ending to unlock. First, you must obtain and install all three animatronic upgrades. These are Monty’s Claws, Chica’s Voice Box, and Roxy‘s Eyes.

When you have all three and the endgame begins, head to the old elevator to the Old Pizzeria. There, you will encounter Burntrap and must defeat him. The ending shows Burntrap seeking to escape through the blaze only to be snatched up by the Blob. This allows Gregory and Fazbear to escape as the Pizza Plex collapses.

The epilogue scene simply shows Gregory and a fully functional Freddy Fazbear sitting atop a hill, enjoying the sunshine. This is the last two star ending.

As the Canon ending, it is the only ending where both the ending and epilogue are in 3D.

6. Saviour ending

Another difficult ending to unlock, the Saviour ending is unique in that the conditions to unlock the ending are completely optional. You must defeat Princess Quest 1 and 2, then Princess Quest 3 during the endgame.

Princess Quest 1 is located at the Glamrock Beauty Salon, in a storage closet. Princess Quest 2 is located in the basem*nt of DJ Music Man in the Fazcade. Beat them and then when exiting the Pizza Plex through the front entrance, select the Vanny option.

Enter Vanny’s lair and defeat Princess Quest 3. Upon defeating the game within a game, the ending scene will start. The game gives an Error screen to Gregory. He then leaves the lair to see all the bots are decommissioned and Vanny’s mask and bowtie are on the ground. He exits the Pizza Plex with Fazbear’s head in a bag, Vanessa exiting the place behind him.

The epilogue scene shows Gregory, Fazbear’s head, and Vanessa sitting on what appears to be the same hill as the Canon ending. Both humans are eating ice cream. This is the game’s only three star ending.
